What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A lot of five postwar signed photos, including one depicting General der Panzertruppen Hermann Balck, in uniform and with the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords clearly visible, overlaid by Balck’s handwritten signature in faint blue ink, undated, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; two photos depicting Generaladmiral Hans-Georg von Friedeburg at the signing of instruments of surrender at Lüneberg Heath, each overlaid by von Friedburg’s handwritten signature in blue ink (obtained shortly before his suicide on 23 May 1945), the reverse of each pasted with a label describing the scene in English, both measuring 152 mm (w) x 102 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting Feldwebel Rudolf Hegewald, in uniforma and with the Knight’s Cross clearly visible, above Hegewald’s signature in blue ink, measuring 88 mm (w) x 125 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and, and; one depicting Generalleutnant Theodor Tolsdorf, overlaid by Tolsdorf’s signature in blue ink, undated, measuring 78 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
