What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Wartime Signed Picture Postcard of U-Boat Commander Otto von Bülow

A postcard showing a picture of Otto von Bülow. It measures 91x140mm, mint condition. It is signed in blue ink. The back of the card identifies the photographer as Photo-Hoffmann, Munich. It also states that reprinting is forbidden: “Nachdruck verboten”.

Footnote: Corvette Captain Otto von Bülow (1911–2006) served as Commander of a U-Boat. He was a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves when in command of the U-404, with which he sank 15 ships.
