A Gau winner certificate, 4 pages, measuring 239x314mm, extremely fine condition with light scuffing and age-related discolouration. It is issued to to Wilhelm Kossak who won the annual National Vocational Competition in his Gau (district) in the group for banks and insurances. The document is dated to Berlin on Labour Day, May 1. It carries facsimiles of Dr. Robert Ley (1890–1945), head of the German Labour Front, and Baldur von Schirach (1907–1974), national youth leader. The opposite page shows a print of a photo of A.H., taken by H. Hoffmann. (C:146)
