Germany, Third Reich. A Group of Various Second War Period Documents
The group of documents includes a Sonderausweis (Special ID) for Unteroffizier Kurt Eyle, dated 30 June 1943, signed in blue ink by the Hauptmann of Kraftfahrpark Litzmannstadt, and measures 20.9 cm (w) x 15 cm (h). Six Polish ID cards called “Registration of the Population by the Police,” two page bilingual documents, containing information regarding personal data (address, religion, nationality, profession), and length of residence in the occupied territories, two of the six were Jewish individuals, each measures approximately 15.3 cm (w) x 21.05 cm (h), and range from poor to very fine conditions. A Birth Certificate for Paul Norbert Rabus, born on 5 June 1898 to Catholic parents Bergmann Johann and Anna Rabus, dated 14 January 1944 and signed in black ink, measures approximately 14.8 cm (w) x 21.1 cm (h), and in good condition. A Steuerkarte (Tax Card), c. 1937, measures approximately 20.9 cm (w) x 14.8 cm (h), and in good condition. A Warsaw Residence Certificate, c.1942, measures approximately 14.9 cm (w) x 21.55 cm (h), and in good condition. A telegram dated 27 September 1940, written in purple pencil, measures 20.7 cm (w) x 14.7 cm (h), and in poor condition. An excerpt from the birth and baptismal register of the Catholic parish in Griebenau (Grzybno), dated 26 March 1942, measures 20.9 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), and in very fine condition.
