What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

An Wehrpaß & Health Book to Georg Raab

Georg Raab, 10.4 x 14.6 / 14.2 x 20.6 cm. Date of item: 1936. Condition: very good, signs of aging. A Wehrpaß (army ID) and health book of soldier Georg Raab. Raab was born Sep 25th, 1901 in Pressig, district of Kronach, Upper Franconia. He lived in Bamberg, worked as a butcher, and was married. Between 1939 and 1944 he served in several battalions, mostly Kraftfahrer-Ersatz (motorized reserve), and three times he spent time in a military hospital. In 1940 he received his last promotion to sergeant. The Wehrpaß contains a conscription order from 1944. The health book informs the reader that Raab was missing several teeth. The diagnosis says that he is only partially ready for service, but since the health book works with abbreviations and has no key there is no way to find out what exactly he suffered from. Only one doctor actually wrote out a condition: chronic duodenal ulcer.
