A well-preserved Waffen-SS Wehrpaß to SS-Rottenführer Wilhelm Kopystka, constructed of a card stock binding with all 54 paginated interior pages intact and bearing a small number of handwritten entries, retaining a certified studio photo of the bearer, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.
Footnote: Wilhelm Kopystka was born on 4 September 1911 and entered Waffen-SS service in 1941 with 3. Kompanie, SS-Ersatz-Bataillon “Nord”. He was trained in the use of the Karabiner 98k rifle. On 7 June 1941, he transferred to SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann Sachsenhausen, where he performed guard duty through March 1945.
