(Erinnerungsmedaillen). A lot of three commemorative medals, including a Bavarian Luitpold Cross for 40 Years in State and Community Service, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central leftward-facing profile of Prince Regent Luitpold, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with central inscription of “FÜR EHRENVOLLE VIERZIG DIENSTES JAHRE” (“FOR AN HONOURABLE FORTY YEARS OF SERVICE”), the arms bearing a date of “12. MÄRZ 1911” and a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 36.56 mm (w) x 40.92 mm (h), weighing 19.7 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Württemberg Landwehr Long Service Medal, II Class, constructed of gilded tombak, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central wreathed crown, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER RESERVE UND LANDWEHR” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE RESERVES AND LANDWEHR”), unmarked, measuring 25.09 mm in diameter, weighing 6.8 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, with crossed swords through the centerpiece, the reverse marked marked with the logo of Reichsverband Pforzheim, measuring 38.06 mm (w) x 42.20 mm (h), weighing 15.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
