What's a max bid?

(Stadt Freiburg Leistungsmedaille). Constructed of gilded silver, the obverse with a central bird perched on top of a branch, circumscribed by an inscription of “PRÄMIIRT FÜR VORZÜGLICHE LEISTUNG” (“PRIZE FOR EXCEPTIONAL MERIT”), with an etched inscription of “FREIBERG 23-25 NOV. 1889”, the reverse with an inscription of “OHNE FLEISS KEIN PREISS” (“WITHOUT EFFORT, NO REWARD”), measuring 33.32 mm in diameter, weighing 17.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
