What's a max bid?

(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914/1918, mit Etui). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centre, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse marked with an unidentified maker’s logo, measuring 37.57 mm (w) x 42.44 mm (h), weighing 13.4 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former bearing an inscription of “TREUE UM TREUE” (“LOYALTY FOR LOYALTY”), above the signature of Paul von Hindenburg, with a depressed white velveted medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 7.5 cm (w) x 9 cm (l) x 2.5 cm (h), in near mint condition.
