Iron cross 1st Class 1914, magnetic, silver frame (marked “925”), vaulted, pin assembly period repaired, engraved (von Zedlitz 1916); Mecklenburg Schwerin Military Merit Cross 1914, 1st Class, in Bronze gilt, unmarked, 41 mm, reverse engraved (von Zedlitz 1917), extremely fine condition; Iron cross 2nd Class 1914, magnetic, silver frame (marked “900” on ring, without ribbon), with five period photos of von Zedlitz, and also a period newspaper clipping. Engraved Mecklenburg Schwerin Military Merit Cross 1914 1st Class is rare. Footnote: Friedrich von Zedlitz was an field artillery commander.
