A desirable Prussian Observer’s badge in silver (marked “800” on the reverse of the pin) with a finely enameled square insignia consisting of white, black, and red enamels mounted in the center; hollow construction; with two intact pins holding the insignia to the badge; vertical pinback with a functional hinge/catch assembly; unmarked but a textbook example of “Car Dilenius, Pforzheim” construction; measuring 71.75 mm x 44.86 mm; weighing 25.7 grams; light attractive patina; worn badge exhibiting all the finely toned characteristics of use; better than extremely fine condition.
