Klasse” in its case of issue; white metal cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a white metal ribbed border; the obverse with a raised central “W” with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown; measuring 43.88 mm x 44.03 mm; weighing 16.7 grams; in its case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; lined interior lid with a recessed medal bed; functional spring catch with stud release; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 71 mm x 69 mm; near mint condition.
