What's a max bid?

An Iron Cross 1st Class 1914; Dedicated in Remembrance of Chmpagne & Verdun

Silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, vaulted, engraved "von Zastrow s./l. Mühl / z. Erg. an Champagne / und Verdun / 1915/16." (von Zastrow to my dear friend Mühl in remembrance of Chmpagne and Verdun 1915-16) on the four arms and marked "935" (silver) on the reverse, unmarked but known to have been manufactured by J.H. Werner of Berlin, 42.2 mm, vertical pinback, extremely high quality, tiny dent on the one arm point on two arms, minor period repair to the pin, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Iron Cross insignia on the lid, purple slotted medal bed, lightly scuffed on the exterior, case better than very fine.
 
Footnote: Uncommon inscribed Iron Cross that has been professionally engraved with a personal dedication that provides the recipient's name, battles and dates of service. J.H. Werner of Berlin served as an official crown jeweller of the Prussian royal family. (C:171)
