Germany. A Lot of Medals
(Medaillen). A lot of four medals, including two Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, each constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, both consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse of one maker marked “AD. B. L.” for Adolf Baumeister, Lüdenscheid, and the other marked “0. 15” for an unidentified manufacturer, both measuring 37 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition; a Cross for Voluntary War Merit, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Kyffhäuser League medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
