Germany, Imperial. A 1910 Imperial Infantry Badge by C.E. Juncker
(Kaiserabzeichen der Infanterie 1910). Instituted 27 January 1895 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. (1910 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze and magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, overlaid by crossed rifles and a date of “1910”, affixed with six reverse attachment prongs to a magnetic metal backplate, maker marked “C.E. JUNCKER, ALTE JACOBSTR. 13, BERLIN”, measuring 55 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
