A hard-shelled case of issue, constructed of dark-red faux leather, the exterior lid presents an Iron Cross and inscribed DER DANK DES VATERLANDES (THANKS TO THE FATHERLAND), the interior lid lined in white satin presenting a black-white-red German national colours ribbon, maker marked with sticker on bottom exterior stating HINRICH PETERSEN PAPIERAUSSTATTUNGEN WISMARK 1/M. HEDGE 5, measuring 77 mm (w) x 118 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), presenting scuffing to the exterior, interior missing medal bed, and in near very fine condition.
