Disciplinary Action Document for Berlin Guard Infantry Regiment Soldier Signed by Crown Prince Friedrich III, 1859: The authors of the document declare that Grenadier Christian Friedrich Borsdorf of the Guard Reserve Infantry Regiment has been sentenced to four strict punishments due to insubordination. It is dated to Berlin on August 3, 1859. It carries the signatures and seals of a Major, two Captains, and a First and a Second Lieutenant of the Regiment, as well as those of a member of the Court of the Royal Guard Division. Lastly, the Prussian Crown Prince and later German Emperor Friedrich III in his function as Division Commander approves of the measures. The document contains his original signature in black ink. Measuring 213 mm (w) x 342 mm (h), presenting some creasing and light fraying, several small holes on the blank page of the double page, and overall age-appropriate wear, remains very fine.
