Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Bavarian Military Merit Order 4th Class with Swords certificate to lieutenant of the reserve of the 20th Infantry Regiment, Emil Lamprecht, dated to Munich on 12 December 1914. Measuring 207 mm (w) x 328 mm (h), presenting two folding creases and light scuffing of the edges, remains very fine.

A Hamburg Hanseatic Cross certificate to lieutenant of the 20th Bavarian Infantry Regiment, Emil Lamprecht, dated to 4 April 1916. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 329 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases and light rust stains from a removed paperclip, remains near very fine.

A promotion certificate to Oberleutnant (first lieutenant) Lamprecht, dated to Munich on 6 April 1918. Measuring 209 mm (w) x 330 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases, light scuffing of the edges, and two minor tears, remains near very fine.

An appointment certificate to Leutnant, dated to Berchtesgaden on 9 October 1917. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 332 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, light overall creasing, and light scuffing of the edges, remains very fine.

Two identical certificates from the Friedrich Wilhelm University in Berlin, stating that Lamprecht is eligible to study philosophy there for the winter semester of 1913/14, after having studied at the university in Munich prior to switching to Berlin. Dated to 8 June 1914, second copy dated to 17 February 1919. Measuring 223 mm (w) x 350 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases and light scuffing of the edges, remains very fine.

A protestant confirmation certificate to Emil Otto Adolf Lamprecht, born 18 December 1893, dated to 29 March 1908. Measuring 209 mm (w) x 329 mm (h), presenting two folding creases and minimal scuffing of the edges, remains better than very fine.

A Hamburg highschool certificate to 15 year old Lamprecht, dated to 12 March 1909. Measuring 208 mm (w) x 328 mm (h), presenting two folding creases and minimal scuffing of the edges, remains better than very fine.
