Germany, Imperial. A First War Iron Cross Patriotic Creamer
(Milchkännchen). A well-preserved First World War patriotic creamer, constructed of fine glazed white porcelain, with a protruding handle contoured for a comfortable two-fingered grip, with a spout set into the outer edge, one side of the jug featuring an intricate, multi-coloured, transfer-printed design consisting of a 1914 Iron Cross set within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, flanked at the top by gilt floral designs, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) (inclusive of handle) x 100 mm (h), a small chip is visible to the interior of the rim, in overall near extremely fine condition.
