What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A group of six First War commemorative badges, including an Iron Cross badge, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a black enameled Iron Cross flanked by two silvered oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 11 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a second Iron Cross badge with haner, constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a black enameled Iron Cross flanked by laurel and oak leaves, measuring 40 mm (w) x 12 mm (h), missing its catch, otherwise in very fine condition; a bullet pendant, constructed of magnetic metal, on fob-style suspension with a functional spring clip, the reverse maker marked “KARST”, measuring 23 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a Field Marshal von Hindenburg medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 27 mm in diameter, in very fine condition; a Kaiser Friedrich III memorial medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 28 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition, and; a Frederick the Great badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 25 mm in diameter, in near very fine condition.
