The photo album was put together professionally in celebration of the 250th anniversary of Grenadier Regiment “Kronprinz” in December of 1905 in Königsberg (present-day Kaliningrad, Russia). It includes 35 photos, chronicling the festivities. The pictures depict an anniversary ball, with the participants dressed up in 17th century garments, a theatre performance in full costume, retelling the regiments story that began in 1655, and the inauguration of a memorial to the regiment in front of 900 veterans. Measuring 330 mm (w) x 400 mm (h), presenting light warping, some scuffing of the cover, and fraying of the spine, with the interior intact and undamaged, remains very fine.
Footnote: The regiment was first established on December 20, 1655. It had several different names during its existence.
