A lot of awards and documents to Otto Furtkampf, including an award document for a 1914 Iron Cross I Class, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Furtkamp as a Leutnant der Reserve of Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment 16, issued in the field on 29 March 1917, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Major and regimental commander, measuring 208 mm (w) x 166 mm (h), with a central folding crease visible, in near extremely fine condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.88 mm (w) x 43.15 mm (h), weighing 10.0 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by its award document, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Furtkamp as a Leutnant der Reserve of Infanterie-Regiment 370, issued on 4 June 1918, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Major and regimental commander, measuring 210 mm (w) x 168 mm (h), with some creasing and a single strip of tape repair evident, in very fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords through the centre, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918’, the reverse marked “T.H.W.” for an unidentified maker, measuring 37.08 mm (w) x 41.42 mm (h), weighing 14.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by its award document, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Furtkamp as a merchant and resident of Wuppertal-Elberfeld, issued on 29 November 1934, measuring 210 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), with a small tear to the left and a folding crease evident, in near extremely fine condition, and; a German Equestrian Youth merit book named to Achim Furtkamp, constructed of a card stock binding with 10 paginated interior pages bearing handwritten entries, completing with an award document.
