(Patriotische Abzeichen). A mixed lot of three First World War patriotic badges, including:
1. One constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an exceptionally detailed German national eagle in mid-flight, topped by a crown, clutching a red and white enameled Cross Pattée in its talons, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. One constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a pale orange enameled disc, surrounded by a white enameled border, overlaid by a red enameled Cross Pattée situated within a silvered laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 24 mm diameter, in extremely fine condition.
3. One constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disc, surrounding by a red enameled border, bearing a red Geneva Cross, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 24 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
