Constructed of silver, the obverse featuring a raised rightward-facing bust of Max Immelmann, flanked by name, the reverse with an eagle in mid-flight over a rural landscape, circumscribed by an inscription of “DER ADLER VON LILLE” (“THE EAGLE OF THE LILLE”), the reverse maker marked “L. CHR. LAUER, NÜRNBERG”, the edge with an inscription of “SILBER” and a silver content number of “990”, measuring 33.32 mm in diameer, weighing 18.1 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux green leather exterior, the interior with a padded red satin-type lid liner and partially-intact hinge cover, with a depressed red velvet medal bed, opening with a functional metal snap button and functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 62 mm (l) x 16 mm (h), moderate material fatigue is evident to the case, in overall near extremely fine condition.
