What's a max bid?

(Berichte über die Flugtätigkeit). A mixed lot of six late-war flight reports issued by the commander of the Luftstreitkräfte (II. Armee), all constructed of beige card stock bindings, dated from 16 March through 15 September 1918, with each containing detailed typewritten reports on aerial activities and combat between German and Allied air units on the Western and Italian fronts, supplemented by an array of black-and-white photos, charts, and tactical maps, a fascinating look at late-war air combat in near extremely fine condition.
