A mixed lot of six patriotic postcards, including one depicting a black-and-white image of Feldmarschall Alfred (Graf) von Waldersee, circumscribed by name and studio marks, the reverse unused, measuring 95 mm (w) x 146 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; one depicting a black-and-white image of Duke Johann Albrecht of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, in his capacity of President of the German Colonial Society, with the obverse featuring a lengthy handwritten inscription dedicated from Karlsruhe on 2 July 1913, the reverse with paid postage, addressed to a recipient in Breslau, measuring 140 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), with age-appropriate material fatigue evident, in very fine condition; one depicting a studio portrait of General Erich Ludendorff, in uniform and with an array of decorations clearly visible, the reverse unused and with a Königsberg studio mark, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a studio portrait of General Erich von Falkenhayn, in uniform and with decorations clearly visible, the obverse also bearing Berlin studio marks, the reverse unused, measuring 87 mm (w) x 137 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a black-and-white sketch of General Hans Gaede, the reverse unused and with a Dresden studio mark, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a First World War card depicting Kaiser Wilhelm II and Emperor Franz Joseph, the reverse bearing a brief handwritten inscription, dated 2 June 1915, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
