A Reichsbank Medal constructed of blackened iron, the obverse bears a kneeling woman with an outstretched hand holding a necklace, below is the date “1916” and above reads “IN EISERNER ZEIT” (IN THE IRON TIME), the reverse bears the inscription “GOLD GAB ICH ZUR WEHR EISEN NAHM ICH ZUR EHR” (I GAVE GOLD TO DEFEND IRON I TOOK HONOUR), with oak leaves underneath and marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 41.02 mm, very fine.
A Reichsbank Medal for Jewelry Document to Stefan Retzer, on cream coloured cardboard. The document is border with oak leaves and red, white and black ribbon. Topped with an Iron Cross paty. The document was issued in Regensburg on 17 February 1917 and signed. Measuring 237 mm (w) x 161 mm (h), very fine.
