A ribbon bar for a highly-decorated First World War veteran featuring 15 awards, including a 1914 Iron Cross, a Prussian Order of the Crown, a Saxon Military Order of St. Henry, a Saxe-Ernestine House Order, a Bavarian Military Merit Order, a Württemberg Military Merit Order, an unidentified award, a Hesse Bravery Medal, a Schaumburg-Lippe Faithful Service Cross, a Braunschweig War Merit Cross, a Lübeck Hanseatic Cross, a Bremen Hanseatic Cross, a Hamburg Hanseatic Cross, an Austrian Order of the Iron Crown, and an Austrian Military Merit Medal, all set on a 22.5 cm-long zink bar with a horizontal pinback and red wool reverse liner, unmarked, demonstrating consistent soiling throughout the ribbons and some oxidation of the devices, an unusual example in very fine condition.
