(Kriegshaft Douglas Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of lead, with an integral suspension loop, the obverse with a depiction of the internment camp at Douglas, within a barbed wire wreath, topped by a Manx triskelion, the reverse with a central raised inscription of “ERINNERUNG AN DIE KRIEGSHAFT” (“MOMENTO OF THE WAR CAMP”), topped by an inscription of “WELTKRIEG 1914-1916” (“WORLD WAR 1914-1916”) and above an inscription of “DOUGLAS, ISLE OF MAN”, measuring 45.20 mm in diameter, weighing 33.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
