A certificate, measuring 209x328mm, near extremely fine condition with light scuffing, folding creases, minimal discolouration, and two punched holes. It states that his royal highness Duke Ernst August of Brunswick has awarded Kastellan (castellan) Börsing the Cross of Merit
1st Class of the House Order of Henry the Lion. The document is dated to Brunswick on May 9, 1914 and signed in black ink by the Chancellor of the Ducal Order of Henry the Lion, the name is indecipherable.
