An extensive mixed lot of Imperial German Navy postcards and commemorative items, including 42 postcards (with two envelopes) commemorating German vessels of the First World War, with 23 featuring handwritten dedications on the reverse, 11 of which are Feldpost examples, some demonstrating minor discolouration or soiling, in overall near extremely fine condition; an ink sketch depicting a group of sailors on the deck of a warship, the obverse initialled “E.B.”, affixed to a card stock backer, measuring 148 mm (w) x 240 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a S.M.S. Moltke commemorative medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 33 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
