What's a max bid?

A mixed lot of Imperial German Navy postcards and photographs, including 11 postcards depicting studio portraits and illustrations of key Officers and personnel, including hand-signed cards depicting images of Admiral Paul Behnke and Kapitän Julius Lauterbach (later Lauterbach-Emden), with four featuring handwritten dedications, three of which bear Feldpost marks, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; 14 private prewar and wartime photos depicting naval personnel in uniform, including images of decorated individuals wearing the 1914 Iron Cross among other awards, including two studio-marked cabinet photos, as well as one death card-style photo to a sailor killed in action at the Battle of Jutland on 1 June 1916, in overall near extremely fine condition.
