A postcard presenting a black-and-white drawing or Kapitänleutnant Otto Weddigen (1882-1915) at the centre of a 1914 Iron Cross, above the scene where the submarine U-9 destroys three English cruisers, the reverse presents unused, maker marked Kreslawksy & Co., measuring 9.1 cm (w) x 13.9 cm (h), and in near extremely fine condition. A picture postcard presenting a black-and-white photograph of two members of the Imperial German Navy, the reverse presents hand-writing in blue pencil, measuring 9 cm (w) x 13.9 cm (h), and in very fine condition.
