Three Picture Postcard of Bavarian and Prussian Airmen
A lot of three picture postcards; 1) Of a soldier standing proudly in his uniform with his Observer's badge clearly visible; the reverse states “To my sister Gretchen for her Birthday - in the field, 22.4.18 (name illegible); measuring 132 mm x 89 mm. 2) Of a soldier standing proudly in his uniform with an Iron Cross 1914 First Class, a Black Grade Wound Badge, and a Observer’s Badge clearly visible; the reverse states “To my fatherly friends, the old Moose; in remembrance of Constanze, that (the rest unfortunately illegible) - dated 18.3.1922, signed by Friedrich Baumhauer; measuring 136 mm x 86 mm. 3) A picture postcard, displaying 19 men; the reverse is addressed to “My Lovely” - unfortunately it is mostly illegible but the author writes about giving his sweetheart greetings and kisses; measuring 138 mm x 90 mm. Overall in extremely fine condition without major signs of age or wear.
