Five First War German FeldPost Letters
Five Feldpost letters, measuring between 140x90mm and 137x175mm, all extremely fine to near mint condition. Three were sent by Wilhelm Klein: May 5, 1914, rank of Schütze (Private), 2nd Replacement Machine Gun Company; December 1, 1916, 10th Company of Infantry Regiment 117; and January 1, 1918, rank of Gefreiter (Lance Corporal), 3rd Machine Gun Company of Infantry Regiment 117. One was sent by Fritz Klein, apparently a close relative of Wilhelm Klein, possibly his brother. He served in the 4th Battery of Reserve Füssilier Artillery Regiment 24, the letter is dated to May 27, 1918. One was sent by an NCO, his name and unit are indecipherable, dated to October 3, 1915.
