A signed portrait of General Der Infanterie Reinhard Freiherr von Scheffer-Boyadel, depicted in uniform and wearing a covered Pickelhaube and with a variety of decorations, pasted to a large card stock backer and set just above a handwritten signature in black ink, concealed within a period original frame, constructed of plastered wood with a gold-painted exterior and retaining an intact glass face, the reverse nailed with an intact pressed card stock backer and topped by a magnetic metal suspension loop, measuring 21 cm (w) x 27 cm (h), with moderate chipping along the edges of the frame, in overall very fine condition.
