A wartime signed and framed portrait depicting General Konrad Ernst von Goßler, in uniform and wearing an indeterminate Grand Cross and the 1870 Iron Cross II Class with 25th Jubilee Clasp, the lower left corner bearing an embossed Breslau studio mark, affixed to a canvas backer overlaid at the bottom by a handwritten signature in black ink reading “KONRAD. V. GOßLER, GENERAL DER INFANTERIE”, the image measuring 101 mm (w) x 152 mm (h), set within a period frame measuring 206 mm (w) x 272 mm (h), retaining an intact glass face and with a reverse suspension ring, with minor chipping visible to the frame, in overall extremely fine condition.
