A First War Iron Cross 1914 Commemorative Cigarette Box

Polished wood finish on the exterior, the framework of the box in a magnetic metal with a brass-coloured finish, the lid of the box slightly vaulted, with a silver and black painted Iron Cross 1914 in the centre, interior is wood-lined in both the base and the lid, 104 mm x 104 mm x 32.5 mm in height, hinged along the back edge, crazing evident in the finish on the exterior, scattered contact marks and wear on the brass-colored finish on the metal parts, better than very fine.
