What's a max bid?

(Kaiserliche Marine Schulterklappen für Konteradmiral). A rare and matching set of Konteradmiral shoulder boards, each constructed of dark blue wool with card stock cores reinforced with magnetic metal wire reinforcements, both topped by a single length of silver aluminum wire piping interspersed with black and white chevrons, in turn interwoven with two lengths of gold bullion wire piping, the reverse of each retaining an integral blue wool strap with a reinforced buttonhole, both retaining period original gilded magnetic metal buttons bearing fouled anchors on the obverse and reverse lugs circumscribed by inscriptions of “EXTRA FEIN”, both measuring 50 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), a scarce pair in extremely fine condition.
