A First War German Medal Pair with Ribbon Bar
Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, 42.5 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze-coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "B.H." over "L." (Bernhard Haarmann, Lüdenscheid) on the reverse, 37.5 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, light surface wear evident on the arms of the IC and the reverse of the HC, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its Ribbon Bar (original ribbons, silvered and black enamelled Iron Cross on the IC ribbon, crossed bronze swords on the HC ribbon, 17 mm x 51.5 mm, swing bar pinback).
