A First War Wurttemberg Medal Bar
Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "N" (Neuhaus & Sohn), 42.8 mm); Wurttemberg: Military Merit Medal, Type V (1892-1918), Silver Grade (silvered bronze, 28.5 mm); Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze-coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "G11" on the reverse, 37.5 mm); and Wurttemberg: 3rd Class Iron Medal for Nine Years' Service (1917-1921) (blackened iron, magnetic, 31.5 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, lightly soiled original ribbons, scattered silvering wear on the Iron Medal, near extremely fine. (C:17)
