Wurttenberg. A First War Medal Bar
Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "W" (Wagner, Berlin) on the ring, 43.5 mm); Wurttenberg: Military Merit Medal, Silver Grade, Type V (1892-1918) (silvered bronze, 28.2 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze-coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "G18" on the reverse, 37.3 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, lightly soiled original ribbons, scattered paint chipping on the IC, contact marks and surface wear on the MMM, fabric wear on the reverse of the suspension, better than very fine.
