Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 with Clasp to the Iron Cross 2nd Class (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, 43 mm, surmounted by a 24.7 mm x 25 mm vaulted silvered tombac 2nd Type Reduced Size Clasp to the Iron Cross 2nd Class); Third Reich: War Merit Cross, 2nd Class (bronzed tombac, 47.2 mm); Wurttemberg: Military Merit Medal, Silver Grade, Type V (1892-1918) (silvered bronze, 28.5 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze-coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "G.5" (unknown) on the reverse, 37.5 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, scattered silvering wear on the Wurttemberg award, near extremely fine.
