What's a max bid?

An extremely well preserved example of a Saxon medal bar of three awards, consisting of

1) An extremely fine quality manufacture 1918-1921 Issue Saxon Military Order of St. Henry Knight’s Cross (Kurfürstlich Sächslischer Militär-St. Heinrichs Orden Ritterkreuz); a silver gilt knight’s cross; the obverse with a central enamel medallion, depicting St. Henry, surrounded by a blue enameled ring, inscribed “Frid(ericus), Aug(ustus) d(ei) Garatia) Rex Sax(oniae) Instrauravit (Latin - Frederick August by the Grace of God, King of Saxony); with the outer edges of the Maltese cross in white enamels and green enameled florets between the arms of the cross; the reverse with a golden and enamel center applique, surrounded by a blue enameled ring, inscribed “Virtuti in Bello” (Latin - For bravery in war); suspended from a swivel crown suspension; with a horizontally-pierced ball and ring suspension; measuring 38.48 mm (w) x 38.20 mm (h).

2) A well preserved Saxon Albert Order Knight’s Cross with Swords (Albrechtsorden Ritterkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern); the cross in the form of a silver Latin cross with silver gilt accents, white enameled arms, and crossed swords; the obverse with a central white enameled medallion depicting a rightward facing bust of Herzog Albrecht, surrounded by a blue enameled ring, inscribed “Albertus Animous” (Latin - Albert the Merciful), along with arabesques towards the bottom of the enameled ring; the reverse with a white enameled central medallion depicting the Saxon coat of arms, surrounded by a blue enameled ring with arabesques on the top, and “1850” on the bottom; on loop for suspension; marked “S” on the bottom arm of the cross for “G.A. Scharffenberg, Dresden”; measuring 34.22 mm (w) x 39.59 (h).

3) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class “Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse”; a cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border; on loop for suspension; the obverse with a raised central “W”, with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm; the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with “FW” in equally raised lettering directly below; measuring 42.28 mm (w) x 42.55 mm (h); all mounted onto a medal bar; metal core; dark blue wool backer; measuring 92 mm (w) x 43 mm (h); in overall extremely fine condition.
