A four-place medal bar, a 1914 Iron Cross II Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 II. Klasse). Reinstituted 5 August 1914. (1914-1918 issue). Constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 43.45 mm (w) x 47.87 mm (h), on a black and white ribbon; Bavaria, Kingdom. A Military Merit Cross, IV Class (Militär-Verdienstkreuz IV. Klasse). Instituted 19 July 1866 by King Ludwig II. A silver Maltese Cross with blue enamelled arms, with flames between the arms of the cross, the obverse with a central black enamelled medallion bearing a silver crowned cipher of King Ludwig III within a white enamelled border in the form of a buckled belt with silver letters reading MERENTI (MERIT), the reverse with a central black enamelled medallion bearing a silver crowned Bavarian lion rampant within a white enamelled border in the form of a buckled belt, dated 1866, measuring 40.32 mm (w) x 50.15 mm (h), on a black, blue and white ribbon;Bulgaria, Kingdom. An Order of St. Alexander, Type I, Officer Орден "Свети Александър". Instituted in25 December 1881. In silver with red and white enamels, the obverse centre bears red enamel and gilt name of the order and is circumscribed with gilt lettering reading СЪ НАМИ БОГЪ (God with us) with a sprig of laurel below, the reverse bears a white background with inscription 19 ФЕВРАЛЪ 1878 (19 February 1878), with ornate suspension, measuring 38.76 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), on a red ribbon; Italy, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown of Italy (Ordine della Corona d'Italia). Instituted 20 February 1868. A Rupert cross paty constructed of bronze and white enamel, twisted rope detailing between the cross arms, the obverse centre bears a circular medallion of blue enamel with a crown in the centre, the reverse centre bears a black enamel eagle with a red and white enamel shield, measuring 36.17 mm (w) x 38.92 mm (h), on a red and white ribbon, all very fine.
