(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar featuring three decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class,constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initial “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 43.24 mm (w) x 47.63 mm (h), weighing 18.3 grams, in very fine condition; a Württemberg Silver Military Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised rightward-facing profile of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR TAPFERKEIT UND TREUE” (“FOR BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”), unmarked, measuring 28.48 mm in diameter, weighing 12.9 grams, in very fine condition, and; a Württemberg Long Service Medal, II Class for 12 Years, constructed of gilded tombak, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised royal crown, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”) above a wreathed number “12” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30.01 mm in diameter, weighing 15.0 grams, in extremely fine condition; all affixed to a 110 mm-long bronze bar with a black wool reverse liner and horizontal pinback, in near extremely fine condition.
