1. A 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, the suspension loop maker marked “KO” for an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 43.09 mm (w) x 48.30 mm (h), weighing 14.0 grams, with minor oxidation evident, in very fine condition.
2. A Bavarian Military Merit Cross, III Class with Swords, constructed of coppered bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Ludwig II, within a stylized belt and buckle bearing an inscription of “MERENTI” (“MERIT”) with arabesques, the twelve o’clock arm fastened with a crossed sword clasp, the reverse bearing a central raised Bavarian lion rampant, within a stylized belt and buckle bearing an institution date of “1866” with arabesques, unmarked, measuring 42.55 mm (w) x 48.80 mm (h), weighing 17.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
3. A Mecklenburg-Schwerin Military Merit Cross, II Class, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV, the six o’clock arm with an institution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR AUSZEICHNUNG IM KRIEG” (“FOR DISTINCTION IN WAR”), unmarked, measuring 40.67 mm (w) x 44.44 mm (h), weighing 16.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.
4. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of L. Christian Lauer, Nuremberg, measuring 37.56 mm (w) x 41.83 mm (h), weighing 14.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
5. A Bavarian Army Jubilee Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.18 mm (w) x 42.65 mm (h), weighing 15.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.
All suspended from a 145 mm-long zink bar with a green wool reverse liner and horizontal pinback, unmarked, with minor soiling of ribbons evident, in very fine condition.
