Germany, Imperial. A Medal Bar for Non-Combatant Service

(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar for a recipient with non-combatant service spanning the period from the Franco-Prussian War through to the First World War, featuring eight decorations, including a Prussian Merit Cross in Silver, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, featuring a double-sided central medallions bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, unmarked, measuring 40.02 mm (w) x 42.09 mm (h); a Cross for Voluntary War Assistance, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-HILFSDIENST” (“FOR WAR ASSISTANCE”), unmarked, measuring 41.28 mm (w) x 41.72 mm (h); a Cross to the General Honour Decoration, constructed of silver and Gold, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central Gold medallion overlaid by a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, above a date of “1900”, the reverse bearing an analogous central Gold medallion, bearing a wreathed inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE”), the six o’clock arm maker marked with the logo of Wagner & Sohn, Berlin, measuring 39.87 mm (w) x 43.57 mm (h); a General Honour Decoration, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE”), the obverse bearing a monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, unmarked, measuring 39.25 mm in diameter; a War Commemorative Medal for 1870/71, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 28.97 mm in diameter; a Long Service Cross, I Class for 15 Years, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, the reverse bearing a central raised number “15” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 36.26 mm (w) x 39.29 mm (h); a Saxon Long Service Medal, II Class for 12 Years, constructed of gilded neusilber, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 30.10 mm in diameter, and; as Kaiser Wilhelm I Centenary Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 39.90 mm in diameter; all suspended from 245 mm-long non-magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and grey wool reverse liner, with slight oxidation and fatigue evident to the medals and ribbons, respectively, in overall near extremely fine condition.
