A First War period medal ribbon bar featuring eight ribbons, five of which are accompanied by medals, including a 1914 Iron Cross Second Class, constructed of a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central “W”, with a Prussian royal crown on the upper arm and reinstitution date of “1914” on the lower arm, the obverse with central oak leaves, with a Prussian royal crown on the upper arm and initial institution date of “1913” on the lower arm, unmarked, measuring 43.18 mm (w) x 47.66 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a ribbon for a Prussian Merit Cross; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronze magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, presenting as a Cross Pattée, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the obverse with central dates of “1914-1918” within a laurel wreath, the reverse maker marked “N. & H.”, measuring 37.19 mm (w) x 41.57 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a ribbon for a Bavarian Military Merit Cross; a Bavarian 12-Year Long Service Award, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 33.08 mm in diameter, in very fine condition; a Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold Army Jubilee Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 31.98 mm (w) x 43.76 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Hungarian First World War Commemorative Medal for Combatants, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 37.14 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; a ribbon for a Bulgarian War Service Medal, all set on a 210 mm-long metal ribbon bar with a horizontal pinback and red wool backer, unmarked, in near extremely fine condition.
