WWI German Army Pair Named to Dem Ritter V.S.M. Josef - Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver with black paint, iron core, magnetic, maker marked "2" on the ring, 43.2 mm); and War Veteran's Medal (bronze gilt, engraved initials "JB" on the obverse centrepiece, engraved "Dem Ritter V.S.M. Josef. I 1938" on the reverse, 50.3 mm). Mounted to a traditional trapezoid-shaped suspension, original ribbons, with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, three clasps (REIMS, CHAMPAGNE, MASURISCHE-SEEN) and crossed bronze swords on the ribbons, light contact, extremely fine.
